હવામાન વિભાગે વાવાઝોડાને લઈને મહત્ત્વની જાણકારી આપી છે. જે અનુસાર દક્ષિણપૂર્વ અરબી સમુદ્ર પર ડિપ્રેશન રચાયું છે અને તે આજે, 06મી જૂન, 2023 ના IST 0530 કલાકે કેન્દ્રિય છે અને અક્ષાંશ 11.3°N નજીક છે અને રેખાંશ 66.0°E છે. ગોવાના પશ્ચિમ-દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમમાં લગભગ 920 કિમી, મુંબઈથી 1120 કિમી દક્ષિણ-દક્ષિણપશ્ચિમ, પોરબંદરથી 1160 કિમી દક્ષિણે અને 1520 કિમી કરાચીની દક્ષિણે તે લગભગ ઉત્તર તરફ આગળ વધશે અને પૂર્વ મધ્ય અરેબિયનમાં આગામી 24 કલાક દરમિયાન ચક્રવાતી તોફાનમાં વધુ તીવ્ર બને તેવી શક્યતા છે.

પૂર્વ મધ્ય અરબી સમુદ્રમાાં આગામી 24 કલાક દરમિયાન ચક્રવાતી તોફાનમાં વધુ તીવ્ર બને તેવી શક્યતા છે. અરબી સમુદ્રમાં સર્જાયેલા હવાના દબાણના કારણે ગુજરાત પર વાવાઝોડાનો ખતરો તોળાઈ રહ્યો છે.

7 જૂન આસપાસ લક્ષદ્વીપ પાસે હવાનું હળવું દબાણ વાવાઝોડામાં પરિવર્તિત થશે. વાવાઝોડાની શરૂઆત દિશા મુંબઈ અને રત્નાગીરી તરફ હોવાની શક્યતા છે. 13 જૂનની આસપાસ વાવાઝોડું ગુજરાતના દરિયાકિનારા નજીક હોવાનું અનુમાન છે. ત્યારે 12, 13 અને 14 જૂનના સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને દરિયા કિનારા વિસ્તારમાં ભારે વરસાદ વરસી શકે છે. તો દરિયાકિનારે 50થી 100 કિમી પ્રતિકલાકની ઝડપે પવન ફૂંકાવવાનું અનુમાન છે. જો છેલ્લી ઘડીએ વાવાઝોડું ફંટાઈ જાય તો પાકિસ્તાનના કરાંચી તરફ જઈ શકે છે.

If the storm finally dissipates, it may move towards Karachi, Pakistan. Heavy rain may occur in Saurashtra and coastal areas on June 12, 13 and 14. Also, there is a possibility of wind speed of 50 to 100 km along the coast.
Cyclone Biporjoy is approaching Gujarat. But the relief news is that this storm will not hit the sea of Gujarat. Biporjoy cyclone will blow towards Pakistan. This cyclone will pass over Gujarat on June 10 and will hit Pakistan on June 12. However, the impact of this storm will be seen in Gujarat. Rain will be seen in Gujarat as part of its impact. North Gujarat will change the climate of Saurashtra. Along with this, fishermen have also been instructed not to plow the sea on these days.

Heavy rain in Ahmedabad
Rain started early this morning in most parts of the state including Ahmedabad along with strong wind and lightning. In which there was rain along with heavy wind in areas including Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Patan, Panchmahal, Aravalli, Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar. Very cold has spread in the raining atmosphere with strong wind.

Lakheni in Banaskantha and Nadiad in Kheda received more than one and a half inches of rain. More than an inch of rain was received in 12 talukas in two hours this morning.
