Important news has come to the fore in helping the Biporjoy cyclone victims in Gujarat. A major relief has been announced by the state government in the wake of Cyclone Bipor Joy. In which the government will pay 7000 rupees for the loss of clothes and household goods. 1,20,000 will be given as assistance for a completely destroyed unpaved house.
15000 has been provided by the state government to the people who were partially damaged in the storm. 10,000 assistance will be provided for partially damaged raw houses, Rs.10,000 for completely destroyed huts, Rs.5000 for shed damage along with the house. In addition to SDRF in all assistance, the state government will provide an additional amount from its own budget.

Cash Dolls previously paid
Earlier, the government had taken an important decision to pay cash dolls to the affected people who had migrated to the Biporjoy cyclone affected areas. A public decision was taken to pay Rs 100 per day to an adult migrant while Rs 60 per day to children, notably, cash doles were paid within a maximum limit of 5 days.

It may be mentioned that 3 state and district highways had to be closed due to the storm. And power supply was disrupted in 4600 villages. Also power supply was yet to be resumed in 1000 villages. 5120 power poles were downed by the storm. And 581 trees were destroyed. 20 raw houses were destroyed. Also 9 paved houses were affected. And 474 raw houses were damaged. 65 huts were completely destroyed. Industries were closed as a precaution. Industries are not suffering much. And a large part of the cyclone had moved forward.
