It was said that Google has disabled this feature due to security reasons. Now that Google has introduced the feature back, we expect that adequate security arrangements have been made. The report also said that there was no 360-degree viewing option in many places. Some areas like Rohtak in Haryana were showing only still images.

The Google Maps Street View app works as well as the Google Maps website. Moreover, it is available on both Android and iOS.
To use on PC, open Google Maps on your browser. Now enable Street View from the “Layer” box at the bottom left. Manually select an area or enter a location in the search box.
