મહિલા અને બાળ વિકાસ વિભાગ દ્વારા વ્હાલી દીકરી યોજના 2023 કાર્યરત છે. આ યોજના સમાજમાં દીકરી જન્મને પ્રોત્સહન આપવા માટે બહાર પાડવામાં આવેલ છે. આ યોજના હેઠળ નાગરિકો ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરી શકે છે. લાભાર્થી દીકરીઓને કુલ 3 હપ્તામાં 1,10,000/- (એક લાખ દસ હજાર રૂપિયા) નો લાભ મળે છે.

લાભાર્થીની પાત્રતા (Vahli Dikri Scheme Eligibility)
- લાભાર્થી દીકરી ગુજરાતની નાગરિક હોવી જોઈએ.
- દીકરીનો જન્મ તારીખ:- 02/08/2019 ના રોજ કે ત્યારબાદ થયેલો હોવો જોઈએ.
- દંપતિના પ્રથમ ત્રણ સંતાનો પૈકી તમામ દીકરીને યોજનાનો લાભ મળશે.
- માતા-પિતાની સંયુકત વાર્ષિક આવક 2 લાખ કે તેથી ઓછી (ગ્રામ અને શહેરી બંને વિસ્તાર માટે) હોય તેમને લાભ મળશે.
- એકલ માતા-પિતાના કિસ્સામાંમાં કે પિતાની આવક ને ધ્યાન માં રકવા માં આવશે.
- માતા-પિતાની હયાતી ના હોય તેવી દીકરી માટે દાદા, દાદી, ભાઈ કે બહેન એ ગાર્ડિયન તરીકે લાભાર્થી દીકરી માટે અરજી કરી શકે છે.
- બાલલગ્ન પ્રતિબંધક અધિનિયમ ૨૦૦૬ ની જોગવાઈ મુજબ પુક્ત વયે લગ્ન કરેલ હોય તેવા દંપત્તિ ને આ યોજના નો લાભ મળી શકે છે.

In the period of COVIDhttps://gettitnow.com/page/3/-19 and the lockdown in the country the Gujarat government’s funds were backed up . The amount of Rs.133 Crores were indulged in the scheme. From August 2019 to September 2020 total 9,325 girls are enrolled in the scheme so the state’s Women and Child Welfare Department demande that to again avail the forms and extend the benefits of the scheme to 18 months.

The government introduced the Daughter scheme in July last year. At the time it came in action in August. The Department of Women and Child Welfare proposed to extend the date of application form so girls have benefits but in between pandemic came in COVID-19.

આ યોજનાનો લાભ લેવા માટે કેટલાક ડોક્યુમેન્ટ જરૂર પડે છે. જેની યાદી નીચે મુજબ છે.
1. દીકરીના જન્મનું પ્રમાણપત્ર
2. દીકરીનો આધારકાર્ડ નંબર (જો હોય તો)
3. માતા-પિતાના આધારકાર્ડ
4. માતા–પિતાનું જન્મનું પ્રમાણપત્ર
5. આવકનો દાખલો
6. દંપતિના પોતાના હયાત તમામ બાળકોના જન્મના દાખલા
7. લાભાર્થી દીકરીના માતા-પિતાના લગ્નનું સર્ટિફિકેટ(પ્રમાણપત્ર)
8. સ્વ-ઘોષણાનો નમૂનો
9. અરજદારના રેશનકાર્ડની નકલ.
10. લાભાર્થી દીકરી અથવ માતા/પિતાની બેંક ખાતાની પાસબુક
So the government enclosed that that the application time is increased for 6 months and also the application last date is now 18 months from the birth.

The application period for the scheme elongated to 18 instead of 12 months from the date of birth of the daughter so those girls who are born after August 2019 can also apply for the scheme.
