Ayodhya Ram Mandir Opening Date 2024
On January 24, 2024, the day of the inauguration, tourists will be able to visit Ayodhya Ram Mandir, which is almost ready for them. Ayodhya will host the Mandala Utsava from January 23 to March 10. the day after the Prana Pratistha (consecration) of Lord Sri Rama.
Features of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir
The Mandir is built in the customary Nagar manner.
The Mandir is 161 feet tall, 250 feet wide, and 380 feet long (east to west).
The Mandir has three floors, each standing twenty feet tall. There are 44 doors and 392 pillars overall.
The childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla, is located in the main sanctum sanctorum, and there will be a Shri Ram Darbar on the first floor.
The five Mandaps (Hall) are the Kirtan, Rang, Sabha, Prarthna, and Nritya Mandaps.
Engravings of gods and goddesses adorn the walls and pillars.
Access is through the Singh Dwar, up 32 stairs from the east.
Ramps and elevators are provided for the elderly and people with disabilities.
The Mandir is surrounded by the Parkota, a rectangular compound wall measuring 732 meters in length and 14 feet in width.
There are four Mandirs at the four corners of the compound, one each for Surya Dev, Devi Bhagwati, Ganesh Bhagwan, and Bhagwan Shiv. Maa Annapurna’s temple is located in the northern arm, while Hanuman ji’s temple is located in the southern arm.
There is a historic well (Sita koop) close to the mandir that dates back to antiquity.
Proposed Mandirs honoring Maharshi Valmiki, Maharshi Vashishtha, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Nishad Raj, Mata Shabri, and the esteemed consort of the Devi Ahilya are located within the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir complex.
The ancient Bhagwan Shiv Mandir at Kuber Tila, in the complex’s southwest, has been restored, and Jatayu has been installed.
The Mandir does not use iron anywhere.
A 14-meter-thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC) was used to build the Mandir’s foundation, giving it the appearance of man-made rock.
A granite plinth 21 feet high has been built to protect against ground moisture.
The Mandir complex features an independent power station, a water treatment plant, a sewage treatment plant, and a water supply for fire safety.
A 25,000-person Pilgrims Facility Center (PFC) is currently under construction. It will offer pilgrims locker rooms and medical services.
Additionally, there will be a separate block in the complex with a swimming area, restrooms, sinks, open faucets, etc.
The traditional and indigenous technology of India is being used exclusively in the construction of the mandir. Seventy percent of the 70 acres will remain undeveloped as environmental and water conservation are given special attention during construction.
