Pay Scale – As per rules

Training Period-:

  • For Flying & Ground Duty (Technical) – 74 weeks
  • For Ground Duty(Non-Technical) – 52 weeks

Educational Qualification:

Flying Branch: Candidates must have completed a minimum of three years of study in any subject from an accredited university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, as well as a minimum of 50% in each of the subjects of math and physics at the 10+2 level.OR

(b) A four-year BE/B Tech degree with at least 60% of the possible points from an accredited university, or its equivalent.OR

(c) Applicants who have passed the Section A and B exams for Associate Membership in the Aeronautical Society of India or the Institution of Engineers (India) from an accredited university with at least 60% of the possible points.

Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:

Candidates must have completed four years of college or earned an integrated post-graduate degree in engineering or technology from an accredited university, and they must have received at least 50% of their marks in mathematics and physics in their 10+2 coursework.

Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch: Administration & Logistics – Must have passed the section A and B examination for associate membership in the Aeronautical Society of India or the Institution of Engineers (India) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, or have completed the 10+2 and Graduate Degree (minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Accounts Branch: Graduated with 60% or above in any of the following programs from an accredited university after passing the 10+2 exam(aaa) Bachelor of Commerce (minimum three-year program).(aab) Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Management Studies (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Business Studies (with specialization in Finance) (aac) Qualified CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA.(aad) B.Sc. with specialization in Finance

Physical Fitness for Air Force AFCAT 01/2024 Batch Online Form

In order to take the tests at AFSB, candidates are advised to be in good physical condition when they report for SSB. Your goal should be to be able to perform 10 push-ups and 3 chin-ups in addition to running 1 mile (1.6 km) in 10 minutes. In order to adapt to the physical training at AFA, which includes running, swimming, rope climbing, and other forms of physical training and conditioning where they would have to take required tests during training, prospective candidates are also advised to maintain good physical health.*Check out the official notification for more information.

Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch – Height-male-157.5 cms, Female-152 cms

Age Limit:

  • Flying Branch – 20-24 Years
  • Ground Duty(Technical/Non-Technical) – 20-26 years
