Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-Door: After a long wait in the automobile market, Maruti Suzuki has finally launched its off-road car Maruti Suzuki Jimny. The company has launched this SUV at a starting price of Rs 12.7 lakh, in petrol manual variant. While the top-end variant will be the petrol automatic, which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 15.05 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 Door Variant –
The Jimny will be available in Zeta and Alfa trims, while it will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 105bhp of power. Also it is a 4×4 SUV. The engine is mated to an optional 4-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. The Jimny will be sold in India with a 5-door setup. It made its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo in India with this look. Jimny is a 3-door SUV at international level. Talking about its color options, it can be bought in 5 single tone and 2 dual tone color options.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny Features –
The list of features found in this off-road car includes 22.86 cm (9”) Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with HD display and Arcamis audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, climate control, cruise control, LED headlamps.
In this you will get 7 inch touchscreen, 6 airbags, power windows, rear camera, brake limited slip differential, ESP and many other facilities.
Maruti had started bookings for the Ani Jimny 5-door a while back. The company will sell this car through Nexa showrooms. This car’s entry marks Maruti Suzuki’s return to the off-road space after the Gypsy.

There will be a direct clash with Thar –
The Jimny falls below the Grand Vitara, and joins the Brezza and Franks in being Maruti Suzuki’s third sub-4 meter SUV. It will compete directly with the Mahindra Thar in its segment.
However, the Thar is available with 3-door. While the Jimny 5-door, in particular, we’ve driven the Jimny and say it’s a great off-roader. Packed with essential features yet compact enough for everyday use.
